Equinox of Karma by Jada Ryker
I read and reviewed the first book a while back, and I must say that this second installment is my favorite of the two. As in the first novel, the pace of the story is fast, almost frantic. The characters seem to be in a perpetual whirlwind of action, and the dialogue is quirky and funny.
There are twists and turns galore. The character of Celeste is much more developed, and I liked that her romantic side seems to wake up in this novel.
I loved the “dog,” and I do believe his alter ego will be an important element in Celeste’s future. All in all, this was a fun read and I will definitely read the next installment.
